Mysuru: In a joint operation, the City Crime Branch (CCB) and Ashokapuram police nabbed one person and seized Rs 32 Lakh cash along with hardware on April 28 night.

Jayakumar, a resident of Ashokapuram fell into the police trap during the match between Kings XI , Punjab and Sunrisers, Hyderabad.

Police teams recovered the hardware used in betting and seized Rs 32.2 Lakh cash along with four mobile phones. Police also confiscated a TV, set-top box and note counting machine during the raid.

Askokapuram police have registered a case and are investigating further.
