Mysuru: Social Welfare Department conducted a meeting on SC/ST welfare, which was presided by DC C Shikha.

Rangaswamy Dhruvanarayana, MP, Abhinav Khare Mysore district superintendent of police and members of SC/ST welfare committee were present in the meeting.

Besides, government released 22.75 percent of fund that should be utilized on the welfare of SC/ST. While Mysuru City Corporation will investigate corruption related to the fund issue said Dhruvanarayana.Last year, 11 crore fund was released where only six crores has been utilized.

This year 19 crores have been released in which 25 percent should be used for the welfare of students, he added.
