Mysore : An International Peace Conference-VII, was organised by the Forum for Peace and Understanding of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College and National Service Scheme of Mysore University at the Senate Bhavan in Mysore University.

Prof. C. Basavaraj Registrar Mysore University inaugurated the conference.

Speaking to the delegates, DG & IGP Shankar Bidari said the subject selected for this conference, peace and service, is appreciable. We should achieve peace and harmony and build a good healthy relationship with the neighboring countries, he said.

He also said we should work hard to make our country healthy and strong. He also suggested students and delegates to feel Indianness.

Many students from different parts of world studying in India delivered presentations on peace.

A video related to the Hiroshima and Nagasaaki disaster was screened at the end of the day.

Maria Soden ,Chartered Accountant Dublin Ireland , R. Vasudeva Murthy President, Mahajana Education Society and Retd. DG&IGP Shankar Bidari were present in inaugural function.
