Hassan: A JD(S) worker committed suicide by consuming poison after allegedly being insulted by JD(S) leader H D Revanna.

The deceased is Gangadhar from Attichaudanahalli.

It is said that Revanna, son of JD(S) Supremo H D Devegowda had taken Gangadhar to task, after he was repeatedly spotted with Halekote Congress leader.

Pained by the same, Gangadhar is said to have ended life.

It is said that Gangadhar, while fighting for life in a hospital, revealed to the doctors treating him that it was due to Revanna’s attitude that he was compelled to take this extreme step.

Victim’s son Mohan has registered FIR in this regard.
