Mysuru: Inspector K Rajendra, serving at K R police station in Mysuru has been suspended by the City Police Commissioner on December 16 on charges of pending enquiry and also for not registering the complaint.

Saraswathamma had approached Police Commissioner B. Dayananda and informed about the highhandedness of the Inspector. Following her complaint, the commissioner sought a report from ACP Mallik. The City Police Commissioner, who received the report summoned Inspector Rajendra and suspended him pending enquiry.

The incident occurred when a group of people, led by Gajendra, Mahesh and others on Nov. 19, reportedly demolished a part of the house of Saraswathamma in K.R. Mohalla following which she approached Inspector Rajendra to lodge a complaint. But the Inspector did not accept her complaint and sent her away.
