Mysuru: On the 70th Independence day of India, children will be allowed free at Mysore Zoo in the morning hours according to zoo executive director.
Children below 12 years will not be charged entrance fee on Aug 15 between 8.30 am and 1 pm. Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) has asked the Children to utilize the opportunity.
The children can a have a look at new Asiatic lion Ranita, aged 6 years received from Sakkarbaugh zoo, Junagadh in Gujarath recently on animal exchange program, in addition to innumerable species of birds, animals and reptiles during their visit to the zoo.
