Mysore: Commuters in the city bus stand had a providential escape when a huge branch of a tree fell in between two parked buses on October 8 morning. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The incident occurred when the huge trunk fell between two city buses (Route Nos. 343 and 335) at the rural route segment of the city bus-stand at about 8.30 am. The falling trunk also snapped an electric wire, following which the authorities cut off power supply, it is learnt.

MCC, Forest and KSRTC officials rushed to the spot and cleared the fallen tree trunk with the help of a crane.
