Mysuru: A cooking assistant succumbed to injuries on March 23 after the spilt chicken curry caused extensive burns at a post-wedding party in Udayagiri few days ago.The deceased Ramesh had suffered 70 percent burns during a post wedding party, 15 days ago. He ultimately succumbed to burn injuries on March 23.

It is gathered that the large utensil filled with hot chicken curry slipped out of Ramesh’s hands while trying to shift it from the cooking area to the wedding hall to serve.

Ramesh was immediately admitted to hospital but failed to recover.

Udayagiri police registered a case and are investigating further.
