Mysore :Bollywood’s hot actress Poonam Pandey who is in the city for the promotion of her film ‘Love is Poison,’  visited  Chamundi Hills and  offered prayers to Goddess Chamundeshwari.

The film is directed by K Somashekhar and Keshavamurthi and has been brought out under the banner Akash Enterprises.

Speaking to  media men, the actress said  she visited Mysore to pray to the Goddess for the success of ‘Love is Poison’ which is her first movie.

Describing Mysore as a beautiful tourist city, she said she has also visited the Samadhi of actor Rajesh, the hero of the film and prayed for the Almighty to give strength to his family to bear with the loss.

Producer Keshavmurthi said  the family of Rajesh has been given cash assistance instead of cheque and that more financial assistance will be provided if the film  becomes a hit.
