Home Minister Parameshwara attends police passing out parade

Mysuru: Home Minister G Parameshwara attended the passing out parade of women constables, at the District Armed reserve (DAR) grounds in the city on Monday, August 8.

The pass out parade saw more than 150 women constables taking part in an impressive ceremony. Parameshwara wished the new recruits all the success.

Speaking on the occasion the home minster said, “The women constables have to serve in different locations during their service. Under every circumstance, they have to ensure that the government and private property is protected. The need of the hour is to serve with utmost honesty and integrity without getting lured by desires. There is need to maintain secrecy and ensure efficiency in service so that the image of the police department is not dented”.

Deserving cadets were given away prizes for their credible perofrmence during the training period by the home minister.

Advisor to home minister Kempaiah, state Director General of Police Om Prakash, Director in Chief (Training) – Premkumar Meena, IGP Alok Kumar and other police officials and personnel were present on the occasion.
