Meet John Phillips, an ardent devotee of Avadhootha Dattapeeth Ganapathi Sachidananda. As a massive 1008 recital of Hanuman Chalisa is going to be held under the aegis of Guru Sachidananda at Maharaja Grounds on March 6, John Phillips is touring the region popularising the event intended to seek divine intervention for world peace.
On Wednesday, Guru Sachidananda inaugurated a ‘Ratha’ (car) intended to popularise the event and John Phillip caught everybody’s attention because of his attire.
Phillip has been an ardent devotee of Guru Sachidananda and has been visiting the ashram over the last 15 years. He makes it a point to visit the ashram every year to take part in spiritual and religious events.
It is said that Phillip, during his stay in the Ashram offers prayers to the massive Hanuman statue everyday.
