Mysuru: A group of villagers who had come to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner to get their gun licences renewed on Monday December 22, were seen moving around from one chamber to another carrying  guns in their hands creating a scare among the office staff.

Immediately, the office staff asked these gun toting  farmers to cover the guns with whatever covering material they had like towels on their shoulder or the dhotis they were wearing. It was brought to their attention that according to the rules, one has to cover the gun while bringing it out in public.

As people watched the group walking up and down the halls of DC office, not knowing where to go, an irate official informed them about the rule and told the villagers to cover their guns the next time they come for renewal.
