Ganja worth crores seized from illegal plantation; 7 arrested

Hunasur : Hunasur Rural Police have seized  ganja crops worth several crores of rupees grown unauthorisedly in a one and a half acre land in the taluk. A Police team led by DySP Nanjunda which raided the place following a tip off also arrested seven persons of Kerala origin.

It has been learnt that the ganja crops were grown amid the  coconut and areca plantation in a one and a half acre land out of the 12 acre land  which was sold to some Kerala  origin people in Nellur Pala village   in the taluk.

Gajendra Prasad, circle Inspector, Raghavendra, PSI, Lava and other police personnel were part of the operation.
