Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister and BJP leader S.M. Krishna will inaugurate Mysuru Dasara celebrations that begin on October 7.

CM Basavaraj Bommai and Mysuru District In-Charge Minister S. T. Somashekhar made an announcement in this regard.

Krishna will inaugurate the 10-day long festival atop Chamundi hills on October 7 morning.

According to the sources, the Karnataka Government was planning to invite President Ram Nath Kovind for the inauguration as he will be in Karnataka on October 7.
