Mysuru: A 46-year-old man was burnt alive when a shed near Sulthan Park in Mandi Mohalla accidentally caught fire on August 13. Anwar Pasha is identified as the deceased. Pasha used to stay in the shed which had no power supply. Sources said, he must have forgotten to extinguish candles before going to sleep. Surprisingly, his three dogs have miraculously survived the mishap. Fire personnel rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. Several bikes inside the shed have been destroyed in the fire mishap. Meanhwile, the three dogs which were looked after by Pasha were seen weeping over the loss of their owner.
Locals meanwhile are suspicious that some one must have set the shed on fire as it was a commercial complex where Pasha was living. Hence they have demanded thorough probe into the incident.
Mandi police have reached the spot and further investigation is on.
