Mysuru: In a fire mishap at the residence of a Mysuru city corporator, property worth 5 lakhs was destroyed here on September 17 in Mandi Mohalla.
A fire that started from a refrigerator due to a short circuit, engulfed the kitchen in the ground floor and several items inside the kitchen got gutted in fire. The Corporator’s daughter who first learnt about the mishap informed other family members. Immediately, fire and emergency personnel were called to the spot.

Mandi Mohalla police too rushed to the residence.
