Mysore : Its the peak of summer and the cultural city is witnessing processions with empty pots. Men and women with empty pots in hands, cycles and push carts  stand in queue for water  behind the Corporation water tankers and in the process  even resort to quarrelling. The same is the situation where people queue up before bore wells.

Mysore, considered a tourists paradise is today reeling  under water problem. Most of the bore wells have either dried up or are  out of order. There have been protests galore  at several places. Mysorites are left with no option but to set aside all other work and go out to fetch water.
