Dr CG Betsurmath takes charge as Mysore City Commissioner

Mysore: Dr CG Betsurmath took charge as the Commissioner of Mysore City Corporation (MCC) on Wednesday September 3.

The outgoing MCC Commissioner PG Ramesh, who reportedly signed all the formal documents of handover, was conspicuous by his absence.

Addressing the reporters, Dr Betsurmath his major focus towards the city would be to improve the infrastructure taking the elected representatives and officers into confidence.

Dr Betsurmath had been the Additional DC of MUDA and Commissioner for Archaeology, Heritage and Museums.

He also added that he would strive hard to expedite the pending works of Raja Marga and Town Hall development works before Dasara. He would focus on curbing unauthorised hoardings and illegal water connections in city, he added.

Dr CG Betsurmath was welcomed by his PAs Basavanna and Suresh, Assistant Commissioner Sathyamurthy and others.
