Mysuru: Retired IPS officer and security advisor to the CM, M Kempaiah, speaking on the conclusion of the Annual sports meet on Dec 7th, said that police officers should build sportsmanship quality in order to get success in their profession. “Sports will help in maintaining physical fitness and refresh the mind”. Police will have to face undergo pains and face many pressure situations in their daily work, and the sportsmanship quality will helps in managing those situations, he added.

Speaking on officer Rashmi case he said that investigation report has to be submitted to the Govt by the COD and then action will be taken. “The action will depend on the findings of the report”, he stated.
He said that a new police ground with a budget of Rs 3 crore budget is planned near Kurubarahalli. He also spoke on his dream project – a Police Medical College. He said that the commissioner has already sent a proposal, but the indications are that it will be very difficult to maintain their own hospital so a tie up with a govt. hospital is an option that is being explored.
