Mysuru: After nearly six years, the people of Mysuru will have an opportunity to see the airshow. As part of the Dasara event, the district administration will be organising an airshow at Bannimantap Ground on September 29.

The Air Force team from Bengaluru, after inspecting Bannimantap Ground, confirmed the airshow on September 29 to Deputy Commissioner D Randeep.

Confirming the same, Randeep said, “The airshow team confirmed the event on September 29. During their stint, the Indian Air Force personnel will be performing petal drop, slithering and skydiving. During skydiving, the Akash Ganga team after coming down from parachute, will hand over the flag to the Chief Minister. The airshow will be there for 20 minutes and will start at 11 or 11.30 am.
