Mysuru: Energy minister D K Shivakumar for the first time has spoken in a soft manner about JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy.
While reacting to HDK’s comment that he would take political retirement, Shivakumar said that Kumaraswamy must stay in politics.

“Kumaraswamy should remain in politics. He should not quit politics. In politics, no one is permanent but he should not stay away from politics with his own will”, Shivakumar said.

Speaking on the ongoing issue about the selection of candidate for Hebbala constituency for by-elections, Shivakumar said that three names were sent to the high command and they have finalised the name of Jaffer Sharif’s grandson.

“We have no objection to it. We will win more than 25 seats in the zilla panchayath elections across the state”, he added.
