Bangalore: D K Suresh, brother of Congress MLA D K Shivakumar is most likely to contest in the forthcoming general elections from Bangalore rural Lok Sabha constituency.

MLA D K Shivakumar has met AICC chairperson Sonia Gandhi at the national capital on Monday July 29, with a request to issue ticket to his brother Suresh, in order to contest the forthcoming general elections and assured her of winning Congress candidate.  Sonia Gandhi has consented and advised KPCC president to issue the ticket to D K Suresh.

D K Shivakumar who failed to get cabinet seat in the government formed by CM Siddaramaiah, seemed to have taken the forthcoming general elections as decisive in his political career trying to form a strong opposition to CM Siddaramaiah.  It is motive behind seeking ticket to his brother Suresh and wining him in the general election seemed a victory to CM Siddaramaiahs opponents group.
