Mysuru: The III additional district and session’s court on Wednesday passed its verdict saying, Sunil Bose be made accused in the 2010 bribery case.

The court which was supposed to pass the verdict on the case on August 31 had reserved the order as it was not finalised and had postponed it to September 7.

It can be brought to light that in 2010, Lokayukta had trapped geologist Alphonsos while he was taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh in connection with illegal transportation of sand. Later Alphonsos alleged that he was forced to take money by Sunil Bose and his friend Raju. Lokayukta had dropped the names of Sunil Bose and Raju from the chargesheet. But it was questioned by Basavaraju, resident of T Narasipur who had filed a private case before the court.
