Mysuru: Police in Mysuru city arrested a 39-year-old man accused of chain snatching. They recovered nine gold chains from his possession.

According to a report by DH, the arrested accused is identified as Syed Ummar, a resident of the Sathyanagar area of the city.

His involvement in the crime came to light when the Vidyaranyapuram police inspected his two-wheeler in JP Nagar.

The police revealed that Ummar was using the two-wheeler under a fake registration number.

With Ummar’s arrest, the police were able to close seven cases that were reported across the city.
