Mysuru: The sight of an amazing waterpark attracts many travelers traveling from Kushalanagar to Mysuru.

Lakshminarayan, a resident of Kodagu is the man behind this amazing waterpark which is situated in an old lake near the Mysuru-Bantwal highway near Kundanahalli Circle in Periyapatna taluk of Mysuru.

The owner of the Coorg Water park, Lakshminarayan said “At first, I started boating in the lake. It slowly began to attract tourists. Then we thought of extending it with the garden, including the cottage, and watchtower.”

As soon you step into the waterpark, you will find an area for some adventurous watersports. The natural beauty of the place is breathtaking. The large lake offers a panoramic view of the landscape.

This apart, the Coorg Water Park is admired by the tourists for spreading the essence of patriotism. To commemorate the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country Amar Jawan monument is built here using marbles. It also includes the information of the martyr soldiers from the post-independence war to the Kargil War. The pictures and information of Param veer chakra awardees carved in marbles are awe-inspiring.

Another speciality of the park is that the soil of frontiers of India is worshipped near the Amar Jawan monument. The owner of the park, Laxmanarayan, had visited the frontiers of India in 2013 under the program Sarhad Ko Pranam, and now that soil is placed near the monument. It is now being worshipped here.
