Mysuru: The City Commissioner of Police has warned the candidates aspiring to join the police constabulary to not fall prey to agents taking money from them promising them of job.

SP’s precautionary measures on New Year eve likely to dampen the spirit of revellers-1Commissioner Subramanyeshwar Rao has specifically told this in wake of the Police Constable selection procedure that will be held from January 18 to 23 at the Armed Reserve Force Maidan, behind Race Course in the city.

He said that the selection will be transparent, computerised and completely based on merit and reservation. In such a case there is no scope for any tout or agent to get upper hand in selection procedure.

The release from the Commissioner has stated that in case any such persons try to take advantage of gullible candidates, they must bring it to the notice of the police.

The complaints can be lodged by calling 080-22943650 or 080-22942261 or 0821-2418300.
