Mysuru: Congress manifesto is a bogus document filled with hollow promises, ridiculed Janata Dal (Secular) State President H D Kumarswamy (HDK).
Talking to media at a private hotel, HDK asked how one can expect Congress government to create lakhs of jobs when it failed to create even a single job in the state during the last five years. The manifesto is a lengthy document filled with only assurances, he added.
Indira canteens were opened to loot public money and some of them have already shut down, HDK alleged.
Both Congress and BJP looted nation’s wealth during the last 70 years and the state electorate will give a fitting reply by electing JD(S) this time, HDK stated.
There are allegations about a secret pact between BJP and JDS but going by the sequence of events which led to the withdrawal of Vijayendra’s candidature, it appears there is a secret understanding between BS Yeddyurappa (BSY) and CM, HDK remarked.
Both BSY and Siddaramaiah are proclaiming themselves as future chief ministers, he said but sounded confident of gaining people’s support to form JD(S) government in the state.
Siddaramaiah is flashing caste card in Badami where his defeat is certain, said HDK while assuring of campaigning in Badami ahead of polls.
HDK termed Zameer Ahmed Khan as “Naqli Sahebru” (Fake Muslim) dismissing latter’s allegations of distributing money among voters in Channapatna constituency.
