Mysore :The inauguration of 2nd International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Management ‘ICCTEM – 2014’ was held here at Sahukar Channaiah Auditorium, VVCE on July 17.

Dr B Sadashiva Gowda, principal of the institution, welcomed the gathering. Prof M K Surappa, director, IIT, Ropar, Punjab and Sid Mookerji, Global CEO and founder, SPI were chief guests of the programme.

The chief guests were introduced by Pooja Anand.

The programme was presided over by Gundappa Gowda, president of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Mysore. He rendered the presidential address.

Guests of honour were B Shivalingappa, vice president of Vidyavardhaka sangha, P Vishwanath, secretary of Vidyavardhaka sangha and S N Lakshminarayana, treasurer of Vidyavardhaka sangh.

Dr B Sadashiva Gowda, principal and organizing committee chair, Dr G V Naveen Prakash, organising secretary and Dr Chandrashekar M Patil, joint organising secretary were also present.
