Mysore: Dharti Prakashana, Abhinav Events and Apoorva Creations  organized a concert by Dr. S. Janaki Naadanamana on 19th Oct at the  Open air Theatre, Manasagangotri.

Actor Srinath, Police Commissioner Dr. M.A Saleem and B R Lakshman Rao joined  Dr. S.  Janaki for the inaugural function.

Speaking to her fans, the living legend Dr. S Janaki said that Mysore has given  her many fans and she shared her experiences of her long innings in the industry.

She revealed that Dr.  Raj Kumar and S. P. Balasubramaniam are her favorite co artistes. “I have many sweet memories singing them”. she added.

B R Lakshman Rao, Mysore has honoured  S Janaki with the award of an honorary  Doctorate by the Mysore University. He shared memories of  his childhood days, when he began to first listen to Dr. S Janaki and how he became her ardent fan.

Murali Krishna, S Janaki’s  son was also present in the concert.
