Mysuru: A high level ministerial committee meeting held at Vidhana Soudha in Bangaluru was finally decided to resume operations at the debt ridden Falcon Tyre Company from July 15.
The decision boosted the morale of hundreds of employees of Falcon Tyres, who were engaged in strike from past three months in front of Deputy Commissioner Office, demanding that the Management restart operations at the Mysuru facility.
The committee which included the Higher Education Minister R V Deshpande and Labour Minister Parameshwar Naik discussed various issues involving the resumption of operations with the Falcon Tyre Company owner Pavan Kumar Ruia and employees.
Finally, the administration of company assured that it would clear all the balance of paymenst on June 30, and withdraw the suspension of operation order on July 1. And the company will restart on July 15, the company administration assured.
MLA’s including Vasu, S R Mahesh, Tanveer Sait, Chikkamadu, and Employment department commissioner and officials took part in the meeting. Six members participated in a meeting representing the employees.
