Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramiah’s second son Dr Yathindra made his entry into the political arena on August 24. This comes as a surprise to many because Dr Yathindra was believed to be reluctant to enter politics. However, this move has been devised keeping in mind that Siddaramaiah’s older son Rakesh, who handled most of the CM’s political plans died recently in Belgium owing to health issues.
It is said that Dr Yathindra offered special prayers in the morning at Chamundi hills and began his political journey by interacting with the people of Varuna Constituency.  He was staying at the official residence of the CM at TK Layout in the city since two days and there were speculations about his entry into politics.

Breakfast was provided for people who came to meet him from different parts of Varuna constituency on the terrace of the residence and enthused supporters were seen garlanding the new leader and interacting with him as they finally received an answer to their question.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Yathindra said that his father bestowed the responsibility to take care of Varuna constituency which he gladly accepted and will serve the people of the constituency in future.
