Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah assured the twenty thousand auto drivers in the city that the state government will work for their development, on Thursday January 24.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Mysuru Auto Rickshaw Malikaru and Auto Chalakara multipurpose cooperative society held in B V Karantha Rangamantapa, in Exhibition ground.

Boosting the confidence of the auto drivers, the CM assures that the economically weak section of auto drivers will get full support from the government and the required funds will be released by the government to the cooperative, he curtained
Speaking on the occasion Cooperative Minister H S Mahadev Prasadh said there are around 36 thousand cooperative societies in the state out of which 33 thousand cooperative societies are under working condition. Government is providing many benefits for these cooperative societies, if the number of members is more than 5000 they will get many benefits from the government, he added.
He informed that the Yashaswini Scheme is also available now, and for SC/ST, Rs 200 rupees is discounted thus people must use it, he said.
