CITU demand hike in pension

Mysore: CITU organisation members staged protest to increase the pension for retired workers, in front of Pradeshika Bhavishyanidhi Office at Gayathripura on Monday June 9.

They demanded that they should provide minimum pension of Rs.4,000 under IPS 95 plan. Under this scheme they should increase the eligibility ceiling from 6500 to 15000. So that more workers can join the public safety scheme.

Pension must be increased to 1000 and it should not be invested in Private companies.It should be revised every three years. Price indexed  pensions also must be there.

TA monthly meeting must be held to discuss issues of the subscribers and the Pensioners.

CIT President NK Balajirav, general secretary G.Jayaram were present.
