Mysore: CID led by DySP A. Kumaraswamy on Monday questioned Dr. Dayanand, Asst. Professor, Department of Forensic Sciences, MMC&RI, who had conducted the autopsy of ATI Mess Manager Venkatesh, who was found dead in a sump at the ATI premises which later led to the assault by miscreants on Rashmi who went there to pay her last respects to Venkatesh.

During the enquiry in connection with assault case on ATI DG V. Rashmi, it is reported that the CID sleuths, who grilled Dr. Dayanand, also videographed the entire proceedings for future references.

The enquiry was conducted in the presence of Nazarbad Inspector K.C. Poovaiah and other CID officials at the conference hall in MMC&RI premises.
