Mysuru: To spread a message against child labour and rampant abuse of children, about 100 students of various schools took out an awareness rally here on Monday in city. The rally was organised under the aegis of Child Line 1098 as part of the ‘Mythri Week’ which was launched recently.

The rally was flagged off by Labour Officer Meena at CADA office which passed through Chamaraja Double Road and JLB Road to DC’s office when a memorandum was submitted.

Speaking on the occasion, Meena said that people should be made aware of ills of child labour and its impact on society.

The students held placards with meaningful messages against child labour and child abuse appealing to the people to be kind to children and protect their rights. Dhanraj of ODP, Anil Kumar and Lilly of RLHP and others were present.
