Mysore: Observing the occasion of Independence Day, a drawing competition was organised by Bhagat Singh Youth Society at Freedom Fighters Memorial park on Thursday, August 14.

Students from different school took part in the competition. The competition was held under four categories: LKG and UKG, 1st to 3rd Standard, 4th to 7th Standard and 8th to 10th standard.

The Prize distribution program was conducted in the evening by S R Mahesh and Corporator Prashanth, after which a flag hoisting will be held in the mid night at 12am.

N Lakshmikanth President, K L Venkatesh Treasurer Manju, General Secretary of Bhagat Singh Youth Society and others were present.
