Hunsur: A preschooler died after he was thrown off an autorickshaw near Kalpataru Circle in the town on his way back home after Children’s Day celebrations at school.

Aryan (4), a preschooler at Kids Care in the town is the deceased boy.

The private kindergarten management had distributed balloons to children during day’s celebrations. Aryan found playing with the balloon inside the auto on his way back home, lost balance and fell off.

A seriously injured Aryan was immediately rushed to a hospital in Mysuru but failed to recover and eventually died.

A case has been registered at the Hunsur Police Station.
