Mysuru: The ACP Jayamaruthi has filed a charge sheet against 58 people in the Rashmi Mahesh case. She was assaulted by a mob on October 15, when she had gone to pay her last respects to a canteen contract worker found dead on the Administrative Training Institute campus.

She had then, cancelled the contract of canteen of Bharani Agency who had got the tender illegally.It is alleged that the attack on her was a fallout of her actions to curb such practices.

The case was registered in Nazarbad Police Station. Around 32 people had been arressted and later released on bail.
