Gundlupet: After an IT raid, KPCC Women’s Wing President Lakshmi Hebbalkar is in news again and this time it for distributing money to Congress partyworkers in Annurkeri of Kabballi in Gundlupet.

The video of the same, which has gone viral shows Hebbalkar handing over notes of Rs 2000 denomination to the partyworkers in poll bound Gundlupet.

Recently Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader too landed in trouble due to similar act.

Chamarajanagar and Gundlupet have become prestige issue for both the ruling Congress and the opposition BJP.

Many are of the opinion that Election Officers seem to be least bothered about this blatant violation of poll code and check-posts and checking of vehicles are just eyewash.
