Chamarajanagar: “Sqn Ldr Ashritha V. Oleti of Indian Air Force, hailing from Kollegal has been selected as the country’s first woman Flight Test Engineer and has brought laurels to the district,” said Minister of Primary & Secondary Education Suresh Kumar.

On Saturday, May 29 minister Suresh Kumar visited home and felicitated her.

Ashritha is the daughter of the late O.V. Venkatesh Babu and O.V. Vani couple. She has obtained a degree from the Indian Air Force Test Pilot School, one of the most prestigious training schools in the world. 

MLA Mahesh, District Commissioner MR Ravi, and Superintendent of Police Anita Haddannanavar were present.
