Chamarajanagara: Kollegala Rural Police has arrested four accused on charges of looting cash and mobile.

The arrested identified as Bharath, Hanumegowda, Kiran and Pratap.

Last month, the accused stopped a car belonging to Shivu, a Tamilnadu native, on Male Mahadeshwara Hills road and looted cash and a phone.

Based on complaint, police registered a case and arrested them. They were produced before JMFC Court, Kollegala. Police also recovered car and mobile phones used by the accused.
