Chamarajanagar: As the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bandipur on Sunday April 9 to mark the completion of 50 years of Bandipur Tiger Reserve project in Gundlupete Taluk of the District, necessary steps have to be taken in the interest of road maintenance and other preparations and in the interest of defence.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) D. S. Ramesh has issued order to temporarily ban safaris for the public in Bandipur Tiger Reserve from Thursday April 6 to Sunday April 9.
Also there has been temporary restriction on the entry and stay in all homestays, resorts and lodges falling in Bandipur Tiger Reserve.
