Chamarajanagara: The Dr. Rajkumar Zilla Rangamandira in the District Headquarters stands in dark, while the Deputy Commissioner’s office complex and other prominent buildings are illuminated for Chamarajanagara Dasara.

Interestingly the Rangamandira built within the precincts of District Administration Office Complex was inaugurated, recently. The irony is Dasara cultural programmes, poets’ meet and theatre festival are organised at the Rangamandira. However, it is devoid of any illumination.

Apart from the District Administration Office Complex, Chamarajeshwara Temple, prominent roads in the town are illuminated for the annual festival.
