Chamarajanagara: The Superintendent of Police (SP) Divya Sara Thomas on  Wednesday January 12 suspended CEN Police Station Inspector (PSI) Nanjappa on charges of dreliction of duty.

It is said that the District Judge Ganapathi Gurusidda Badami paid a surprise visit to CEN Police Station on January 3. During his visit the station was locked. The judge sent a report to SP expressing dissatisfaction about functioning of police.

In a report judge stated that if station is locked during the day where should the complainants go? Based on the report, the SP suspended the inspector and ordered for detailed  enquiry.
