Mysuru: A 24 year old woman ended her life by allegedly hanging at her husband’s house on Monday.
She was working as a junior engineer with Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESK) at K R Pet. Allegedly,  she committed suicide on Tuesday after her husband accused her of cheating him on mobile phone. The couple lived on Umar Khayyam road, Tilak Nagar.

Navyashree a resident of Davanagere had married Roopesh of Tilak Nagar in the city who was pursuing his PhD at CFTRI.

According to the sources Roopesh was playing a game on Navyashree’s phone when he saw a message saying “You are my sweet heart” from an anonymous number. He questioned Navyashrre on this but she said she did not know the sender but Roopesh did not believe her and stopped speaking to her.  Navyashree tried to convince him repeatedly by calling on Monday. But he did not take the call. Dejected by this Navyashree hanged herself. Mandi Mohalla Police have registered a case. She has not left behind any death note.
