Mysuru: Home Minister G Parameshwar on Monday said that, cabinet reshuffling is left to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Addressing media persons at Rani Bahadur auditorium, he said, “The CM will take a call on cabinet reshuffle after holding discussions with the party High Command.”
However, he declined to comment about a Dalit CM for Karnataka and further said that he has no clue whether a new president would be elected for the KPCC.
Commenting on functioning of the government during drought he said that, the government has tackled the drought in an effective manner. “A total of 136 taluks were declared as drought-hit taluks. The Central has given Rs 1500 crore as drought relief and the state government has spent nearly Rs 1000 crore to provide drinking water and other facilities in drought hit areas,” he said.
