Mysore: Bahujana Vidyarthi Sangha (BVS) staged a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Thursday to oppose Ambedkars Periyar Study circle in Madras IIT.
Speaking on the occasion State Convener of the BVS Sosale Siddaraju said that the prohibition of Periyar Study Circle in Madras IIT by its administrative board is completely opposite to its rules. They have stopped students creative thinking. Discussion on Periyar who is the Father of Ambedkar is good and there is nothing wrong in discussing about him. These decisions made by the Central Government is not good for students and the rules which are always changed by political parties are only for them and not for the education sector. This  decision is completely opposite to to the views of the BVS and the BVS strongly opposes this rule made by the Central Government.
