Mysuru: A controversy row has erupted on the social media platforms on the actress and the AICC IT Cell Chairperson Ramya also known as Divya Spandana, as she did not attend the funeral of veteran Sandalwood actor-politician Ambareesh.

On Monday, November 27, Ramya had posted saying that she had injured her leg and was unable to attend the funeral.

As a counter-reaction to this post on social media, some of Ambareesh’s fans have commented saying that it was just a reason by ‘Ramya Madam’ to escape the funeral event.

They also raised slogans against Ramya stating that she had shown her disrespect for Ambareesh.

Yuvabharatha was one of the handles critisising Ramya and some have also gone to the extent of posting Ramya’s condolence poster on Facebook.
