Mysuru: Following the announcement made by Mayor R. Lingappa and Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner Dr. C.G. Betsurmath that application forms for Akrama Sakrama would be issued at all MCC Zonal Offices from March 23 onwards.
Hundreds of application seekers, who are seeking regularisation of their houses built on revenue lands and also those who had violated the norms and built houses in Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) areas, thronged the MCC Zonal Offices across the city, only to return empty handed as MCC is yet to receive the printed applications to be issued to the residents.

Reacting to the enquiries on the problems faced by application seekers, MCC Commissioner Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, told that printed applications in three colours would be received by the MCC today evening and the same would be issued at all MCC Zonal Offices from tomorrow.
He also said that trained staffs at these zonal offices were guiding application seekers on ways of filling-in the application form and also about the documents which needed to be produced with the application.
Meanwhile, application seekers, who had been to these offices, were seen clearing their doubts with the trained staff at the zonal offices. MCC to receive applications for violations in MUDA areas too.
The Zonal Offices of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), receiving applications for regularisation of constructions under Akrama-Sakrama Scheme, will also receive applications for regularisation of unauthorised constructions and violations of land use under the jurisdiction of Mysuru Urban Development Authority(MUDA).
Speaking to media persons, MUDA Chairman K.R.Mohan Kumar yesterday said that persons seeking regularisation will have to submit applications to MCC Zonal Offices from where the applications would be forwarded to MUDA, which will later carry out inspections on the basis of the applications.
Chairman of MCC Standing Committee on Town Planning and Improvement Shivakumar said that the matter had been discussed with the MCC Commissioner and added that the Zonal Office nearest to the MUDA area will receive the applications.
