Mysuru: The Karunadu Rakshana Vedike members protested against Agrigold, an Andhra Pradesh based company for cheating many people, within the state of Karnataka.

On April 6, protestors gathered in front of the Gandhi Statue in front of the city court and expressed their anger against state authorities for permitting a company involved in cheating people to operate in the state.

Speaking on behalf of protestors, Chandru said Agrigold had cheated 8,41,161 innocent people to the tune of Rs 1639 Crores.

They demanded action against the company and officials who were “hand-in-glove” with the company in cheating people.

Forum members including many women were present during the protests.
